At 6ft 10in and a pure mass of muscle, it's no wonder that Kevin Nash, better known to fans as Kevin 'Big Sexy' Nash, is one of the most well known personalities in the wrestling business.
Kevin has established himself not only in the realm of sports, but in the entertainment world as well. Kevin forayed into the entertainment world with appearances on shows such as "The New Love Boat," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch"and "Nikki." He has also hosted VH1's "The List" and been a guest on such talk shows as "The Test," "The Tonight Show" and "Politically Incorrect".
Kevin grew up in Detroit, Michigan with dreams of playing on a professional basketball team. He played basketball for the University of Tennessee and headed overseas for several years playing for various European teams. His dream of becoming a pro-basketball player came true; but that was not his destiny. Only after serving in the United States Army for two years did Kevin's life turn to wrestling. He was discovered by Dusty Rhodes and began working for WTBS. In 1993, he signed with Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). The rest is history.
In his free time, Kevin spends time with his son.
Also known as “Big Sexy”, Kevin Nash is one of the most dominating monsters of wrestling in the last decade. A former multi-time World Heavyweight Champion for several major promotions, Nash is also one of the most successful stars ever to step into the ring. Nash is known for his devastating Jackknife Powerbomb, a move he has used to win championships all around the world. Once Nash hits an opponent with the Powerbomb, there’s no getting up.
In addition to wrestling, Nash has also made a successful transition to Hollywood, appearing in several movies including the recent smash hit “The Longest Yard”.
Nash joined TNA Wrestling in November 2004 at Victory Road, aligning himself with Jeff Jarrett and Scott Hall as “The Kings of Wrestling”. The trio targeted AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy, and clashed with them along with “Macho Man” Randy Savage at the December 2004 “Turning Point” Pay-Per-View.
When his alliance with Jarrett crumbled, Nash quickly challenged Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Title at February’s “Against All Odds” Pay-Per-View. It was a brutal showdown between Nash and Jarrett that ended when Jarrett narrowly escaped thanks to underhanded tactics.
Today, Nash is wrapping up filming of a new movie set in China. Once he refocuses his efforts on TNA and the NWA World Heavyweight Title, many say it’s only a matter of time before Nash captures the one world championship that has eluded him.
